Axial Vector JPC=1++J^{PC}=1^{++} Charmonium and Bottomonium Hybrid Mass Predictions with QCD Sum-Rules

Axial vector (JPC=1++)(J^{PC}=1^{++}) charmonium and bottomonium hybrid masses are determined via QCD Laplace sum-rules. Previous sum-rule studies in this channel did not incorporate the dimension-six gluon condensate, which has been shown to be important for 1−−1^{--} and 0−+0^{-+} heavy quark hybrids. An updated analysis of axial vector charmonium and bottomonium hybrids is presented, including the effects of the dimension-six gluon condensate. The axial vector charmonium and bottomonium hybrid masses are predicted to be 5.13 GeV and 11.32 GeV, respectively. We discuss the implications of this result for the charmonium-like XYZ states and the charmonium hybrid multiplet structure observed in recent lattice calculations.Comment: 10 pages, 7 figures. Analysis of the radiative decays among the charmonium states

In this article, we study the radiative decays among the charmonium states with the heavy quark effective theory, and make predictions for the ratios among the radiative decay widths of an special multiplet to another multiplet. The predictions can be confronted with the experimental data in the future and put additional constraints in identifying the XX, YY, ZZ charmonium-like mesons.Comment: 12 pages, revised revisio

No Sommerfeld resummation factor in e+e- -> ppbar ?

    Get PDF
The Sommerfeld rescattering formula is compared to the e+e- -> ppbar BaBar data at threshold and above. While there is the expected Coulomb enhancement at threshold, two unexpected outcomes have been found: |G^p (4M_p^2)|= 1, like for a pointlike fermion, and moreover data show that the resummation factor in the Sommerfeld formula is not needed. Other e+e- -> baryon-antibaryon cross sections show a similar behavior near threshold.Comment: 9 pages, 6 figure

Search for leptonic decays of D0 mesons

We search for the flavor-changing neutral current decays D0\to mu+mu- and D0\to e+e-, and for the lepton-flavor violating decays D0\to e\pm mu\mp using 660 fb^-1 of data collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. We find no evidence for any of these decays. We obtain significantly improved upper limits on the branching fractions: B(D0\to mu+mu-)<1.4x10-7, B(D0\to e+e-)<7.9x10-8, and B(D0\to e+mu-)+B(D0\to mu+e-)<2.6x10-7 at 90% confidence level.Comment: 6 pages, 3 figure

    Time-dependent CP Asymmetries in B0→KS0ρ0ÎłB^0\to K^0_S\rho^0\gamma Decays

We report the first measurement of CP-violation parameters in B^0 -> K_S^0\rho^0\gamma decays based on 657 million B\bar B pairs collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy collider. We measure the time-dependent CP violating parameter S_{K_S^0\rho^0\gamma}= 0.11 +/- 0.33(stat.)^{+0.05}_{-0.09}(syst.). We also obtain the effective direct CP violating parameter A_eff=0.05 +/- 0.18(stat.) +/- 0.06(syst.) for m_{K_S\pi^+\pi^-}<1.8 GeV/c^2 and 0.6 GeV/c^2<m_{\pi^+\pi^-}<0.9 GeV/c^2.Comment: 6 pages, 3 figures, to be submitted to PR

Search for the decay B+→K‟∗0K∗+B^+\rightarrow\overline{K}{}^{*0}K^{*+} at Belle

We report a search for the rare charmless decay B+→K‟∗0K∗+B^+\rightarrow\overline{K}{}^{*0}K^{*+} using a data sample of 772×106772\times10^6 BBˉB\bar{B} pairs collected at the ΄(4S)\Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e−e^+e^- collider. No statistically significant signal is found and a 90% confidence-level upper limit is set on the decay branching fraction as B(B+→K‟∗0K∗+)<1.31×10−6 \mathcal{B}(B^+\rightarrow\overline{K}{}^{*0}K^{*+}) <1.31\times 10^{-6}.Comment: 8 pages, 3 figures, submitted to PRD(RC
